I'm a rising Senior at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY. I am on the Computer Science Major Committee, so my duties include: acting as the bridge between students and faculty to ensure that students are learning the material and not falling behind; making sure faculty are being fair; mediating if there are issues; and planning events and lectures for students. In addition, I am a Computer Science Coach; I tutor and I hold office hours that students can come to and ask questions about coding, assignments, and labs. I have coached students in 101 (coding in Racket/Scheme), 102 (Java), and 224 (Computer Organization-Assembly, Circuitry, and Logic Gates). On campus, I am the president of No Such Organization (NSO), which is the all-around "geek" club. We hold two annual events, Rocky Horror Picture Show and No Such Convention (an anime/fantasy/sci-fi convention), as well as weekly events such as Board Games night, Anime night, Video Game night and Boffing. 

I'm interested in game design and development, game testing, user interface and experience, sound design, mobile development, and software engineering.  I'd love to learn more about website development and applications, servers, mobile development, cloud computing, project management, databases-anything I can get my hands on.
